SONGKHLA -- A major drug suspect wanted under a warrant has been arrested and his assets seized in Hat Yai district, police said. The police, led by Hat Yai police chif Pol Col Kittisak Sangkhathaworn, did not find any drugs or illegal items in the search. He had ordered a large quantity of methamphetamine pills at a time from the North for distribution in the South. Six years ago, he was arrested on drug charges and served three years in jail. In the police questioning, Mr Songklod said he had acted only as a go-between for drug networks.
